Contributing copy, images and video for some of the most prestigious marine titles in Europe including Motor Boat & Yachting, Boat International, Classic Boat and Practical Boat Owner, Nick's marine media career started in 2006 when he began contributing features to Motor Boats Monthly magazine, one of the largest and most popular titles in Europe.

Over the following years Nick added photography, videography and video presentation to his skill set, and attained the role of Boat Test Editor for Motor Boats Monthly in 2011 as well as being asked to become a judge for the prestigious annual Motor Boat Of The Year industry awards held in London in January.

Conducting and overseeing all new and used boat testing for Motor Boats Monthly from the smallest RIB to 100 foot superyachts, Nick continued to build his enviable reputation for quality prose, dramatic photography and confident video presentation, whilst gaining an large contact base throughout the industry.

In 2014 Nick became a freelance photo-journalist, and now offers boat test articles, photography, videography and video presentation to a wide variety of marine media titles, boat builders, dealers and brokers.

Professional quality Nikon photography equipment and training together with years of experience has seen Nick rise to become one of the pre-eminent UK marine photographers. Almost all recent Motor Boats Monthly boat test photography has been conducted by Nick, and in addition his images have graced Motor Boat & Yachting magazine, Practical Boat Owner magazine, Classic Boat magazine, Motor Boat Owner magazine, Marina magazine, and been used by Princess Motor Yacht Sales, Sealine, Windy Boats, Elan Motor Yachts, Trusty Motor Boats, Landau UK, Crewsaver, OceanMaster, not to mention various brokerage and boat sales companies.
